Marigold V2, the depth map of an image

A depth map tells, for every point of an image, whether it is near or far. Marigold V2 is a depth estimation model from Huawei, built on Qwen-Image-Edit. On Beemm Vision it takes one image and returns its depth map, with no prompt.

What Marigold brings

No prompt to write

Wire in an image and Marigold returns the depth. Nothing to describe, nothing to tune: the result depends on the image alone.

A map you read at a glance

The output is a colourised PNG map at the size of the input image: near and far planes stand out immediately, useful to check a composition or separate a subject from its set.

A post-production step

A depth map feeds compositing, depth-of-field blur or parallax effects in an editing or 3D tool.

The engine available here

One version, in the canvas.

  • Marigold V2One input image (up to 2048 × 2048 px and 20 MB), a colourised PNG depth map out.

What Beemm Vision adds

A depth map makes the most sense right after a generation.

  • Generate an image with any model in the catalogue, then wire Marigold after it.
  • Replay the same step over a series of images with Scale mode.
  • Ship the workflow as an app so others get the depth of their own images.
  • One credit balance, no model to install.

Frequently asked questions

What is a depth map?
An image that gives, for every point, its relative distance to the lens. It feeds compositing, depth-of-field blur or parallax effects.
Do I need to write a prompt for Marigold?
No. Marigold V2 takes one image only; the result depends on it alone.
What format is the map?
PNG, as a colourised map at the size of the input image rounded to a multiple of 16 px (input up to 2048 × 2048 px).
Do I need to install Marigold?
No. The model runs at the provider; you use it from the canvas, billed in credits on your Beemm Vision balance.
