A logo in vector, not an image to redraw
Most logo generators return an image: fine on screen, unusable for a printer or a sign until someone redraws it. Here, Recraft's vector models output SVG directly.
What changes for a logo
SVG out
Recraft V4 Vector and Recraft V4.1 Pro Vector produce a vector file that scales without loss, from an app icon to a banner.
Your brand colours
Recraft models accept an imposed palette and background colour: the logo is born in your colours instead of being recoloured afterwards.
Readable lettering
For a wordmark, the letters matter as much as the symbol. Ideogram V4 and GPT Image are known for rendering text inside images: useful to explore lettering.
Twenty options side by side
On the canvas, one brief goes to several models and the options stay visible together. You choose by comparing, not by scrolling a history.
How to create a logo with AI
From brief to file, keeping control of the choice.
- 1 · Write the briefThe name, the business, two or three words of tone, and what to avoid. A short, concrete brief gives better options than a long list of adjectives.
- 2 · Explore on several modelsRecraft for vector, Ideogram for lettering, a third to get off the beaten track. The options sit side by side.
- 3 · Narrow it downDuplicate the option you keep and vary one parameter — palette, weight, symbol — until you reach the right version.
- 4 · Put it in contextAn editing model places the logo on a sign, a package or a screen so you can judge it in situation before signing off.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the AI logo delivered as a vector file?
- Yes with Recraft V4 Vector and Recraft V4.1 Pro Vector, which return an SVG. Other image models return a raster image, useful for exploring but to be vectorised before printing.
- Can I use an AI-generated logo for my brand?
- Our terms assign the generated outputs to you; each model is also governed by its publisher's terms, listed in the Models and providers annex. Before registering a trademark, run a clearance search: a logo can resemble an existing one without anyone intending it.
- Can I impose brand colours on an AI logo?
- Yes with Recraft models, which accept a palette and a background colour. For the others, state the colours in the prompt.
- How much does an AI logo cost?
- Each option uses credits depending on the model, and the cost is shown before you run it. The free plan lets you explore; details are on the Pricing page.
